The Body Dewobble tool is used to remove ripples caused by movement from 3D body scans. You can see these "wobbles" in the legs on the left side of Fig 1, and the dewobbled legs are to the right.
Most of the work is done using CyEdit, which is normally used to edit individual range grids (i.e. raw scans). What this tool in PlyEdit is doing is extracting range grids from the 3D mesh data, sending them to CyEdit for processing, and then applies the changes back into the mesh data.
