I'm a fresh user of UVlayout...
i hope you all can help me....
I have an object send it into uvlayout to flatten it, BUT when i send it back into MAYA, it's become a new object.....i cant make it low poly back....and all the key of animation gone also....
it's that have anyway that just send back the only layout that flatten from UVlayout into MAYA and the poly inside MAYA maintain the original....
Please somebody help..... |

How to get objects back from UVLayout:
When you've finished flattening those objects in UVLayout, click on UVLayout's "Send" button. Then back in Maya just tap the 'x' hotkey; Maya should then load the flattened objects, replacing the ones you originally sent to UVLayout.
which mean it can't be i have a nice layout and my original object within history together??? |

The v2 plugin transfers the UVs to the original object, so it'll retain history, shaders, animation etc.
