Hello,
I recently started using UV Layout v2 Pro and I love the interface. However, with my new clean UV'd mesh exported I opened it up in maya, and after many, many tries tweaking settings, I still cannot save without maya crashing. Does anyone have specific export settings from UV Layout and import settings for maya that could help with this? Thanks, and happy unwrapping!

I've never heard of Maya crashing on an OBJ import before, and there's nothing particularly fancy about the OBJs that UVLayout writes out. What happens if you export an OBJ out of Maya, then without using UVLayout, load it right back in?

Have you tried the Maya plugin? It makes it easier to transfer meshes between Maya and UVLayout, and you never know, it might help!
