How do you change the size of the UV borders/texture size?
I'm trying to UV a object with a non-square texture size (1024x512). I'd like to use UVlayout but I can't find out how to change the size so I can pack/scale the UV's properly.
And taking this into max and trying to change the size in Max just stretches/distorts my UVs.
any help? |

UVLayout currently only supports square UV space. If you have the Pro version though, there's a couple of ways to pack to a rectangle ...
A) Pack to 2 by 1 tiles, then use the "Move / Scale / Rotate" panel to scale all the U's by 0.5. Make sure you untick "Local".
B) Put all the shells in a rectangular box and pack that, then scale all V's by 2.0. You can see this method demoed here ...
