|
|
During packing, is there a way to stop boxes packing into other boxes? I notice normal non-boxed items don't join the box, even if it's packed into the box's area, but other boxes do.
I have a model's UV's that apparently take up 126% of UV space. There's nothing outside of the 0-1 UV space, and the UVs take up about two thirds of the space, so... is this a bug? |

Hmmm, you are correct ... that does seem inconsistent, doesn't it! Normally items are only added to a box when they're drag'n'dropped into the container, but it looks like smaller boxes are being "captured" during the packing process. Maybe I thought it was a good idea at the time?
There's no way to stop this happening unfortunately. I'll have a go at fixing that next week sometime.

Do you have any shells stacked on top of each other?

Awesome, thanks

I do, and I did think this morning that stacked shells might be the cause, but listing amounts over 100% isn't correct, is it? After all, the stacked shells are occupying the same space, not any additional space. |

OK, thanks. I just wanted to check on the most likely cause, and you're correct, its probably not right to show over 100%. Hmmm, maybe I'll show both though, because if you're stacking you might want to know the space saved???
