Hi. I am a begginer of UVlayout.

When I re-opened my obj file that I've already work on UVmap before, I found the EDIT btn is disable. (See the image)

How can I continue my uv work?

I didn't check any of loading option. ( clean, weld UV...)

Please give me some advice.

Thank you in advance.

The "Ed" button is only enabled when you have polys that have no UVs. If its greyed out, then all your polys have been flattened (i.e. they have UVs now) so you switch to the UV view to see and edit them.

If you had only partially flattened the mesh before saving it, whats most likely happened is that default UVs have been assigned to the unflattened polys. This is the "Set All UVs on Save" toggle under the Save preferences.

If you want to delete those default UVs, go to the UV view and use the Shift-D key to "undrop" all the shells that are in the negative tile (i.e. the UV tile to the left and down from the red square). You will then be able to edit those shells back in the Ed view again.
