Older versions of UVLayout were better at displaying the edges correctly when zooming. The new one seems to have some problems with it; as you can see in the screenshot.
The black edges within the shells tend to disappear when zoomed out but the green contours get so fat that it's hard to see which shells are currently selected and which aren't.
See screenshot: Can you spot the selected shell?
I would like to make either the edges thinner (they seem to keep their thickness when zooming out) or assign different colors for edges and selections.

OK, yes, I see the problem! A different color for selected shell boundaries is a good idea, so I'll look at adding that ASAP.

I've added a color preference for picked boundaries, so this will be in the next release. I'm hoping to do one in the next couple of weeks.
