Hello Phil,
I find that UVLayout is a great program  but I am in trouble with the protection you choose. 
I dont want a dongle which takes one port, cost 100$ and that I can loose, and I dont want to re-buy the program if I want to change my PC in 1 year or if my ether card failed.
Why don't you use a serial number to protect your program ?

I'm re-using code I wrote to protect software with a price tag of $4000+, so that's why the current licensing might seem like overkill for UVLayout. It possible that in the future we'll switch to something friendlier, but it won't be right away as I'm concentrating on adding features and fixing bugs in this stage of the development.
I dont want to start another pricing discussion (theres been plenty of those here already :-), but if you're doing UVs for any sort of business venture, even if you had to buy a new license every year, it should be saving you money due to the time savings.
