Hello, I have several questions all regarding UV view.
1) So let's say I have 5 tiles each having its own UV shells.
What I want to achieve is maximize the UVs coverage for all 5 tiles as much as possible, however first 4 tiles I would like to be the same scale ratio. In other words if i would apply checkboard texture to my model, UVs belonging to first 4 tiles would give me the same exact checkboard size, 5th would give the different size.
2) Why tile coverage is not being shown after running "Fit to Sqr"?
3) How can I execute "Pack All" and "Fit to Sqr" for particular tiles only (selection only)?
Thank you |

Here's a sequence of images that I think answers your questions. The "trick" is to use the H key to hide shells you dont want to process.
"2) Why tile coverage is not being shown after running "Fit to Sqr"? "
Oops, because I didn't think to enable it. Currently the coverage only updates/displays right after packing, but I can see it might be useful for it to be displayed after the rescaling actions or even during manual tweaking.

Wonderful, will give this a try! Haven’t thought that hiding might do the trick. Played with locking to some extent it worked worked, but not that I would feel completely there with it!
So coverage might get updated to show after Fit to Sqr in next version? In my workflow I would find it very useful!
Thank you! |

Yes, that's the plan :)
