|
|
Hey everybody!
I've been using Headus for a few months now and its been great! But recently I upgraded my Mac to the Mavericks operating system and it won't open. I've been using XQuartz to launch the app before but it's just not working now.
I get a prompt when I try to open that says i need to install X11- but thats what XQuartz is for.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Looks like we need to install Mavericks here to test with.
In the meantime, try launching XQuartz first from the Applications folder, then when thats going, run UVLayout. It might still give the error, but could run anyway.

So we upgraded one of our Macs here to Maverick, and initially we saw that same thing you did ... an error saying the X11 was missing and UVLayout didn't run. We'd carried over all our old user setups and apps from Mountian Lion, including the XQuartz install.
Anyway, XQuartz was telling us that an update was available, so we did that, now everything is working fine. If you already have the latest XQuartz installed, maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling it to see what happens.
