Hello Phil,
Any plans to implement repaint for several tiles? I often unwrap meshes into several tiles and sometimes after having textures or base textures at least, the uvs need editing, perhaps because some modeling changes were done, or who knows why, but many times i have needed that. Moving the tiles is easy, but if you have 30 tiles, this is very time consuming.
It would be awesome to be able to repaint all of the tiles in one go.
Also, different request but related: would it be possible to add support for exr files? read and write.
Some time ago I used tga as main format for textures, and repaint was very useful. But now, 99% of the time I need my maps in exr 16 bits (half float) format, which makes the repaint tool obsolete for me. It would be very helpful to have exr support.
Thanks in advance for any comment,
Orlando. |

"Any plans to implement repaint for several tiles?"
Yes definitely. In fact its 99% done already, and I think there was a bug or two left to fix, but then I got distracted and didn't get back to it. It'll be in there in the next official release, which will hopefully be sometime in the next month or so.
"would it be possible to add support for exr files?"
I'm sure its possible :) Depending on how friendly the API is, I'll try and get it in the next release too.
Which OS are you using ... Win, Mac or Linux? Oh, and if you email me a small sample EXR file of the type you're wanting to repaint, I can be sure if I do anything it'll work with your files.

Hi Phil,
How is the multiple tile repaint coming along?
It could really come in handy for me right about now
Cheers,
