Hi!
I exported a obj file from maya to uv layout. In uvlayout, the mesh doesn't seem right. Please have a look at the screenshot.
Hope someone can help me with this.

My guess is that you had "Edit" on in the Load options, and the existing UVs were just a linear projection maybe, so UV has tried to fix flipped UVs by detaching pieces. If you load with "New" selected, you'll just get the geometry and can flatten it out properly from there.
