I would suppose it has to do with what 3D app you are using. 3DS Max has an optimize modifier. (thats what I own so I can't attest to Maya/XSI/Lightwave/etc... |

Yeah I should have mentioned a 3rd party app really, as optimising obj's is what we are looking into. Dont think there are any Maya plugins which can sent your model out into an optimiser and bring it back in again. |
