|

I got a box, more like a tall rectangle with two triangles per faces.
I make some cuts, drop it into the UV view and when I flatten (either F or Shift F) its totally messed up.
Basically instead of making a flat piece like a rectangle it make a huuuuge thin red line across many UV tiles
I mean its crazy, I have to divide my box into 6 different faces, then flatten them and weld them together.... its a lot of time lost I think
Anyone have an idea why its failling like that ? |

Here's a file attached wich replicate my problem
Load it, cut the two squares at both end of the box, drop them, drop the middle piece
Try to flatten the middle piece, it makes a huge red line, the more you flatten the more huge it is |

Seems to flatten out OK here, with both F and Shift-F.
Which version of UVLayout are you using?

But, I just watched on the tutorial about the segment tool
That's what I need, the segment tool works better for such shapes |

The latest is 2.06.03, which you can get from your uvlayout.com Support Download page. I don't remember specifically fixing a bug like this, but 2.06.00 is over 6months old now, so a lot has changed since then.
