Hello,

I'm making my obj in maya with polygroups. When i produce a UVtexture in UVL it apparently ignores my polygroups and exports as a single mesh. Can i fix this?

When you're saving your mesh out of UVLayout, the "Update" button instead of the "Save". You select the original OBJ that you exported from maya, and UVLayout makes a copy of that with all the grouping info intact, and only changes the UVs.

thanks phil, i tried out the maya plugin in 2010 and that seems to fix the problem as well!
