This is my current project, based on a monkey island character. I modeled it in Silo and unwrapped in uvlayout. It took about 1.5 hours to unwrap. Gotta say UVLayout just keeps going up in my estimations. AWESOME program.

And thanks for showing us the UVs! The only thing I might have done differently is to use a packing box or two to keep things like the fingers and other hand bits together.
