Actually, I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize it was out. I'll go and pick up a copy sometime in the next couple of days to test it out.

UVLayout requires that X11 be running. It should start up automatically, but try starting it yourself first before running UVLayout.

Thank you Phil, I did not install X11... ( no comment please )
Now it works great, the interface is not so sexy,
but this software does miracles!
Thank you |

"I did not install X11"
Sorry I had to comment :-)
I thought that X11 was installed by default on 10.5 and 10.6, so that's why I didn't mention anything about in the installation instructions. I shall change them!

It's an optional package, I don't remeber if it's checked by default,
but many people like to install just the necessary, avoiding to install
all the printer drivers or the language packages for example...
and X11 in my case
But it's very easy to install X11 in a second time
using the snow leopard disc, |

Someone reported today that the keyboard wasn't working in the OS X Demo under Snow Leopard ... he couldn't type in a new filename to save his work out. I was able to replicate the problem, and in fact it seemed to affect the Pro and Hobbyist versions too! Oops :-)
If you've experienced similar problems, or any problems actually when running UVLayout under Snow Leopard, there's new OS X installers for all versions now available from uvlayout.com.
