Hello together,

first i want to apologize for my english, iam trying hard to do my best. I opened this thread because iam not able to find any information about non-square UV-Maps, unlike there are people telling me its not even possible to create a UV-Map of this kind.

I already tried to pack the UV with a Tile of 1x2. Thats working fine, in Headus. But then i got stuck. It makes perfectly sense to me that when Headus is generating UV-Coordinates based on a square, its not possible to just cut the texture in half.

Please help me. I dont know where else to search and iam hopeless at the moment.

Thanks and regards,
Boris

Yes, packing to a 2 by 1 tile will work, but then you'll probably want to scale the UVs. You can also use boxes ... read this posting for details ...
