We recently purchased UV Layout Pro ,but I can't seem to get Symmetry to work at all on the mac version of UVlayout pro.
I am sure my mesh is the same on both sides. I duplicated deleted/ mirrored across the x axis and merged verts to be sure in maya before I exported. Is there a bug I'm not aware of in the mac version? |

Hi and welcome aboard.
Did you pushed the symmetry button and then selected an edge on the centre line of the mesh and after that hit the spacebar?
Although I work on a PC I have not seen/read about any problems with the symmetry on a mac.
Peace,

yes I'm using find symmetry with the menu then selecting a red and then a blue line along the edges that split the model down the middle and then pressing spacebar.
I even tested using Zbrushes Default head mesh to rule out my own mesh being bad. |

For a single object, just select the one (red) edge. You only need to do the red/blue double edge combination when the symmetry is across two separated objects.
