This is my first post here. What an amazing, AMAZING tool!!

I have downloaded / watched *ALL* the videos. <- and thank you for that. It is helpful beyond words! Anyways....

Something odd is happening with regard to symmetry find. It's really kind of a dumb "preference" thing I suppose, but when I was using the demo and I imported a model (a plane) to mess with, when the symmetry was applied, the grey half was on the right, (with y-axis up) just like in the video.

Now with my licensed version, same exact model file imported, the grey is on the left (facing) side with Y-axis up. No changes were done to the model at all (obviously because you cannot save in the demo version) Wink

I know that once you drop pieces down into UV space you can swap the grey half, but it does not appear to work in the edit or 3d view when you start (before you cut anything up.)

I would ask that maybe this be a feature (to choose which half is the mirror side when you initially find the symmetry) but it worked the way I wish it to in the demo but not the full version??

Which side is light and which is dark is determined by the order of faces/vertex in the mesh basically, and sometimes it'll change depending on which edge you pick to start with. I'm not sure why the demo and pro versions are different ... its the exact same code.

Anyway, it wont be hard to make it more consistent . ... lets make it "light on the right". Then, if you want it the other way around, do the selection from the back.
