Hi, I'm new to this app, I was looking at the videos, but I have blue edges everywhere that the video doesn't have and I don't know how to get rid of those...
I looked in the forum and it said something about seems, that the edges wont match and stuff, but I don't know why or how to fix this.
What I did whas this, I modeled everything in Rhino using nurbs, i then converted this to a mesh having all my surfaces joined and exported to .obj . So, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Blue edges indicate seams or boundaries in the geometry, and currently UVLayout cant do anything about these. Green edges are seams/boundaries in the UVs, and you'll need some of these usually to lay out a mesh with minimal distortion.
What are you doing wrong? To me it looks like Rhino has exported the OBJ without having welded adjoining NURBS patches together. I'm not that familiar with Rhino, but there may be an option/tool somewhere that'll weld those seams up for you.

Well, I looked everywhere and the only thing I could find was a WeldEdges, but I need to weld one by one... That seems like a lot of work, and I can't imagine if the project was bigger than this... I'm gonna keep looking, but I really have no idea how to continue from now on...

Can you email me that OBJ? I have my own tools for welding geometry, and if they work on that file I'll add them to UVLayout's import options.

Ok great! I sent the file to architec@headus.com.au, that's the one right?
Many thanks and let me know
Meanwhile I'll continue trying to fix it myself...
