Will this work on Vista?

I am a user on 3ds max, I read through a lot of posts here and I still cannot determine if the swap between UVLayout and 3ds max will work 100% (not the maxscript version). I am curious because I have the trial currently and I cannot find a way to save the UV's I make and apply them to the mesh in max (It might be just because I have the trial version). Any comments on that work be very greatful

I am a student at college currently and this program is simply amazing but I dont want it for 12 months, so will the hobbyist version last forever as in I dont have to re-purchase UVLayout?

thanks guys, really amazing product ya got here!

"Will this work on Vista?"

Yes, I have run UVLayout myself under both Home and Business editions of Vista.

"I am curious because I have the trial currently and I cannot find a way to save"

You can save from the basic Demo version ... just click on Save and type in the name of the OBJ file ... make sure you include the ".obj" file extension. The Professional and Hobbyist Trial versions however have the Save disabled.

"so will the hobbyist version last forever"

Correct, you get permanent activation keys with the Hobbyist and Professional versions of UVLayout.
