|
|
The Beta development period has come to an end! We thank you all for your bug reports, suggestions, encouragement and even complaints over the last couple of years.
UVLayout v2 has now been "officially" released. Functionality wise it is no different from the recent Beta v1.22 release, but for the first time UVLayout is now available in 4 versions; Professional, Hobbyist, Student and Demo. Click on Try to find out about the Demo version, and Buy for information on the other three.
If you purchased a pre-release license, you should be receiving email about the v2 release sometime in the next couple of weeks. You are being allocated new UVLayout v2 Professional license keys, so the email is just to explain that change.
Phil

Congratulations and best wishes for the future. It is a pleasure to use your software, I would be lost without it now. |

Congrats and many thanks for making life so much easier. UV map problem solving is actually fun to do now. I shudder when I think about having to go back to planar/cylindrical mapping of organic objects. |

Indeed!
Each and every release, better 'n better. Think I've promoted UVLayout now
on about 5 seperate discussion boards... ...can't help myself, though,
as you've made this program irreplaceable in the pipeline.
Kind regards,

A bit late but I had a very busy time the last couple of months.
Peace,

Hi Phil,
I've just played with the Pro demo and the only thing I can say is.. Wowwwwwww.
Al those new functions etc. It is really a joy to unwrap an uv now.
And the hard surface unwrap works like a charm. Nice straight edges without any distortion.
As soon as I received a banner from you I will place it online. Everybody has to know that UVlayout is the best UV-unwrapper that I know of...
Big thumbs up for you Phil.
Peace,
Rich_Art.
