hey first post here been lurking for awhile, used uvlayout for a yr now and i have a prob
the current project imworking on consists of armour and alot of beveled edges when i unwrapped these amour i find that the bevelled parts would over lap each other forcing me to go back and fix each over lapping uv,
my friend told me if i toggled the N icon it would fix my prob, but so far ihave yet to get it to work
thanks ! |

A screenshot would be helpful, please. First thought, though, is that a few small cuts in from the edge might help unwrapping. |

Ditto. Without a picture its hard to know exactly, but in my experience beveled panels often need a dart cut into each of the corners.

Sometime ago I have requested additional Optimization mode for such cases. I have attached examples of how Unfold3D is working with beveled meshes and UVLayout. Phil, if you remember that, you have told me that you are going to add some new mode/brush to the UVLayout for such cases. |
