Just started trying to use UVLayout, most current beta.

After loading an obj file, and doing nothing other than spin the model around in 3D view, I get an Unknown Fatal Error Detected. Exiting. message. UVLayout graphic window closes and a send an error report to Microsoft pops up. Every time.

I have tried several different obj's with the same result each time. I have tried it both with mapped and unmapped files. Same results. I am pretty sure the obj's don't have problems because they can be imported into different programs with no issues.

Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting? I am using a dual core motherboard and high end system with lots of ram. I can post any specification that may help.

I am impressed by what UVLayout can do (from watching the videos) and would really like to solve this problem.

edit - I may have been premature in posting. There was a graphics driver update for my nvida card just a few days ago. Updating the drivers may have solved the problem.

Thanks for the update on the possible driver install fix. I have my fingers crossed here :-)

I did get one error since updating the drivers, but I may be able to attribute that to a procedural error on my part.

I suspect the original issue before the driver update was an Open GL issue. It would occasionally crash one or two other graphics intensive programs.

I have my fingers crossed also, hoping my other problems are solved.

As for UV Layout, it has performed flawlessly so far and I am impressed!!!
