|
|
I load this cube:
www.onesmall.com/stuff/cube.obj
www.onesmall.com/stuff/cube.mtl
And I cut all the corners. Then I drop all the six planes into the UV space.
Nothing is in the UV space. Nothing is in Ed Space. A cube with the cut corners is in the 3D space. Textures cannot be flipped through as there is no uv mapping apparent.
Strange.... very strange... The cube throws a wrench into the gears.
Happy hunting!

'tis true.
I'm getting "this is not a PLY file" when I try to load a multi-part obj (eyebrows). I've sent you the model in an e-mail. No lazy Sunday for you, fellah! |

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the error reports! I made some changes to my OBJ importer to fix another bug, but it looks like I broke it! Oh well, if I cant fix it today (got home duties :-) I'll definitely be fixing it tomorrow.

v1.16.1 is now ready to grab. It'll load both the cube from above, and the emailed eyebrow file (450 individual hairs! You guys are crazy :-).

Blimey! You get to break and fix things without having to wait for a committee to report. You get excused domestic duties. And you can call your clients crazy! That's a great job you've got there, Phil! Gotta reconsider the self-employed route myself, now. Heh heh.
Super fast resolution, as per usual. Thanks. Play time (I've got a bunch of eyebrows to flatten)!
Later: new version works a treat! Sorted out all my eyebrow hairs in a few minutes. I hate to think how long it would have taken using any other uv application. Awesome update. Thanks again. |

Great! I don't do a lot of testing on these beta releases (as you can tell), so I'm relieved to hear that it finally works as advertized :-)
