UVLayout v2 - Now Released
UVLayout, developed by headus, is a stand-alone application for the creation and editing of UV coordinates for 3D polymeshes and subdivision surfaces. Used by professionals in the games and visual effects industries, by hobbyists of all ilks and by students, UVLayout's unique approach gives texture artists the tools to produce high quality low distortion UVs in significantly less time than they would by traditional methods.

Whole Body Scanning in Sydney

Superman Returns
The latest Superman movie was filmed at Sydney's Fox Studios, where we have our body and head scanners. It was only a short buggy ride for Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh to be 3D scanned for their digital doubles.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Wolverine also filmed at Sydney's Fox Studios. Using our new higher rez Cyberware WBXU, we scanned Hugh Jackman in several costumes, Liev Schreiber, Will i Am and other supporting cast.

CySlice v3.3 - Morph Target Tools
CySlice v3.3 adds 3D Paint and Dirt tools, along with new polymesh and surface import and export options. CySlice generated NURB and SUBD samples are available here.

The "Phileroo" Maya sample (see left) demonstrates a morph between two 3D scans and the use of CySlice generated normal maps. Now also available as a real-time demo.
