hello, all

i trainning trial version. once ,i have one question/requests.

my workflow is that " CAD > Maya > UVLayout > Maya ".

this flow has one problem that "Normal Lock" had changed "Normal Unlock" in UVLayout.
(all smooth edge changes to hard edge)

if you can, please tell me how to way keep " Normal Lock".

i excuse , UV Unwrap tool "Roadkil" can keep "Normal Lock" to "Normal Lock".

When exporting your mesh from UVLayout, use the "Update" button instead of the "Save" button. You then select the original OBJ file that was loaded into UVLayout and a copy is made with only the UVs changed. This preserves all the other information in the OBJ file such as the surface normals.
