Hello All,
Here's a sneak peek of the new multi-view mode that'll be in the next release of UVLayout. You can create any number of window panes, and inside each of those can be different UV or 3D views of the loaded mesh. Any editing of the UVs will be displayed in the 3D textured views also.

Will the embedded views be able to be "undocked" and moved, to say a second monitor? |

Not initially. To keep it simple to start with all the windows are inside the single main window. Once I get that working though I'll look at adding proper independent windows.
