Hi there....

I was wondering if you could inform me as to what setting i should use with export from Max and Import from uvlayout so the objects are not rotated out of position.

At the moment when i export and then import from max all my objects are rotated... and I can nto use the align button to realign as it changes the world axis of the object (so it is as if it was created in the wrong position.. so nothing to align with.

Any help would be cool

Thats the first time Ive heard of that happening! The axis settings in UVLayout's Display panel are a view setting only, and don't change the orientation of the geometry itself.

Sorry I cant be more help than that ... we don't use 3DS here at headus. Maybe you should try the plugin?

Phil
