Hi,

I'm having trouble doing any moving of pieces dropped into UV space other than rotating them on an axis point. I've watched the videos and it appears that the space bar and the middle mouse button are used to move the pieces. I have a mouse that has a left and right button, and a scroll wheel in the center.

Am I misunderstanding something or is there a workaround.

By the way, I really like the program a lot. I think it will be coming out of my next paycheck. Smile

Move: press on the while itself+space bar

Rotate: left button+space bar

I'm a little confused ... what do you mean by "press on the while itself" part of the Move command? Thanks for the reply though.

I think isaac_cm meant "press on the wheel itself". You could try that because often its a wheel and a button.

Or open up the Preferences panel and select the "2" mouse buttons option and restart UVLayout. You'll then be able to use the right button to move shells about, as if it was the middle, but you'll have to use LMB+RMB now to zoom the view.

It works perfectly. Thank you. All I need is to get used to the key combinations and watch the videos. This is a great program. I dread UV mapping, and this will make it much easier for me.
