I just cannot get symmetrical UV shells to stay put when packing. I’ve looked over the documentation, advanced videos and forums until my head hurts and I still can’t get my head around what’s going on.

I tried stacking, then creating new box as in the advanced video, but one shell moves away and flips upside down when Pack is hit.

Can you help? I’m an industry veteran and I have an intuitive grasp of most graphic programs, but this is totally baffling me. Some tutorial videos with voice over would be a nice start instead of trying to decipher what the hell is going on just from the keyboard input.

The videos do have a voice over, but actually you aren't the first to have problems with that (getting the audio to work). I've still got all the original AVI files, so can re-cut those with a different audio encoding easily enough, it'll just take a while to reprocess them all. I'll get started today.

So to answer your question, there's a couple of ways to do what you want I think. If you use "Pack All", all the boxes get repacked internally, then rearranged in space. But if you use the ']' hotkey on empty space, it'll only do the rearranging, not repacking internally. Or use the 'L' hotley to lock the shells inside the box, then if you use "Pack All", the locked shells wont be moved around inside their box.
