Basically what I have provided in the current version is an interface by which other people can develop plugins/scripts, within their own applications, that'll talk to UVLayout. As far as I know, the only "plugin" written so far is the Maya one available from this forum.

But if you are just asking generally "Can UVLayout be used with Vectorworks?", then as long as that application can read and write OBJ format files, you can use UVLayout.
