We recently had a question sent in via email that might be helpful for other Wacom users ...

Quote:
Am getting oriented to the Maya UVLayout plug-in and have a navigation question using a Cintiq. I navigate fine in Edit and 3D Views using a Kensington Trackball w/ 4 buttons where I can rotate (LMB), pan (MMB), and zoom (RMB and wheel roll).

Using the Cintiq, I can rotate and zoom, but not pan. The first button on the stylus is set to Middle Click. Yet, when I middle click drag, the object rotates instead of panning. If I don't drag, nothing happens

In Wacom Tablet Properties, I've added a new application--"cysliceP" to hold the stylus button settings. Any suggestions?

Our answer ...

The graphical view window is actually a separate program/process from
the buttons GUI, so the application name you will want to use is
"cyeatP".

And the reply ...

Fortunately, I can navigate fine now with the Cintiq stylus. Telling the Wacom driver to access cyeatP solved all the Cintiq interface problems.

I should add though that "cyeatP" is for Pro version users of UVLayout. If you're running the Hobbyist or Student versions, it would be "cyeatH", and the Demo version would use "cyeatD".
