Just yesterday I signed up as an apple developer, so early next week I'll be installing Lion here to have a go at fixing that.

Hi,

Did you have a chance of looking at this Lion issue ? .. and if so, whats the verdict ?

Sorry to sound impatient, but I miss this great tool..

Sorry, I got dragged away from UVLayout to work on another project with a deadline. That project is finishing up this week, so I hope to be able to get back to this OS X problem next week.

I have downloaded UVLayout to test on my mac before I purchase it.

But, it still doesn't work on Lion GM.

Could you let me know when I can use this awesome tool in Lion?

Sorry for my impatience, but I'm missing this great tool everyday.

It's also not working for me. I really depend on this tool to get my work done. In fact, I wouldn't have installed Lion if I'd known it would break it.

I would deeply appreciate a fix as soon as possible! Thanks!

No solution yet, but I have started working on it at least.

Thanks so much, Phil. I realize it's got to suck having your product break with a new Apple OS. We really appreciate you supporting it!

I really love your work! It's the only way to UV!

Hey Phil,

Do you have any kind of update for us? Any idea when we'll have this problem fixed?

Lion has already sold a million copies, so I'm sure you have many users like myself that are dying to have this critical program back. I'm having to carry two Mac laptops around until this gets fixed. ^^

Sorry, at this point I don't know how long its going to take. Because its crashing during start-up, I only get one error message at a time. The one I'm fixing at the moment might be the last, or it could be the first of many.

Finally making some progress here! Attached pic shows UVLayout now running under Lion. There's a few glitches still (e.g. I'm getting the old double buffer flicker when multiple panes are open) but the major functions seem to be OK so far.

I'll give myself another day to get rid of as many of the glitches as possible, and will then upload the installer. It may not be perfect, but at least it'll be usable, and later updates will fix whats remaining.
