hey there...

i downloaded the demo version off the website and when i try to use the uvlayout it tells me:

"""""""""""""""
cysliceD: error while loading shared libraries: libGLw.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

i checked the website and there is a link for the missing libraries at :

http://www.uvlayout.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=104

but unfortunately link isn't working....

i found some libGlw.so.1 myself but they don't work.. any help is highly appreciated...

thx

hey again

i found the libGlw and made a link between libtiff.so.4 in /usr/lib and the libtiff.so.3 in the headus folder/lib... now the licensing works (headus) but the software doesn't (uvlayout), when i try to run it gives this error...:

cysliceD: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.3: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

any ideas....

Ahhh, I created that missing libs tar file on my 64bit laptop, and it was meant for a different application (a 64bit version of CySlice). I thought I'd borrow it for UVLayout, forgetting that UVLayout is a 32bit build. Sorry!

I'll fix that today and will post here when the new file is ready.

Actually, I got that wrong ...there is a 64bit one around, but I *did* make a 32bit version also. You are correct though ... the link was broken! If you go back to that page the download link is fixed, and that should give you the shared libs you need.

Excellent. I was having the same issues (problems) but all seem to be working fine at this point.
Many thanks!
