In the videos, it shows the maps being displayed with checkerboard and number patterns, to "prove" the squareness and minor distortion of the map. This is a great feature! But ...

As I'm doing my incremental saves, is there any way to NAME the files? I didn't notice this very basic capability was missing, since the demo doesn't allow saving. Sad

Please tell me there's a way ...

OK, thanks for the tip!

In Lightwave Modeler, placing a point outside the bounds of a poly like that is "legal," and causes no problems, but I guess not so in an obj. Smile

BTW, I tried to get it to crash a third time so I could send a screen-shot of the alert, but I was UNABLE to get it to crash a third time!

So whatever was happening can't be all that bad ...

I got around the problem by just cutting off those ends, but I'll email you the obj, just so I can learn what to watch for in the future ...

I just downloaded the UVLayout Demo for MacOS this morning, and have been playing the videos while experimenting with a Lightwave model exported as obj. (I am very hopeful about this wonderful app!)
