I can't seem to set a new Home Directory properly under Preferences. No matter what directory I try pointing it to, it always uses this directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.1
It won't even work if I point it to the Desktop. I'm using Windows 7 Pro x64. |

Weird, especially because its using an Adobe path! I just double-checked here on a 32bit Win 7 setup and its working fine. All I can suggest is to re-install UVLayout ... you never know, it might help.
A possible work-around is coming up in the next release. A user requested that UVLayout remember where the last file opened was, so the file selection GUI now keps a history of the last 5 directories. If we cant fix your start folder, at least that'll allow you to jump to your work folders quickly.

Turns out you are correct! At some point I "fixed" a different bug and in the process broke this feature. I'll upload a fix sometime in the next day or so.

I'm glad i'm not a programmer. I would have long since pulled out what little hair I have left!
Thanks for the heads up (no pun intended) and I too think that feature of last five paths will be quite useful! |

I'd rather be a programmer thanks; if I find a bug I can fix it.
If you are a user and find a bug, you're are at the mercy of the developers :)

+1 that request.
As far as merciful (or otherwise) developers go, you're actually really great about listening to your user's feature requests and implementing them when appropriate. It's very appreciated. |

Sorry, forgot to post anything here!
The update for that fix was made a couple of days later, and you'll find that on your uvlayout.com account's Support Extras page. The reason why it hasn't been made an "official" release yet is that I haven't had a chance yet to finish off the new multi-windowing function.
