|
I have a character model that I have imported into Headus from Silo as an obj. However, when I do, a section on the characters lower back is outlined in dotted blue lines (hash marks). Not sure what is going on. I have spent about an hour online trying to figure it out, but nothing seems to work. Help!!! |

Does any one know what's going on here and how to fix it? |

Whats happening there is that the normals of the blue faces are backwards compared to the surround faces, and that's because the vertex order is the wrong way (i.e. counter-clockwise instead of clockwise). If you can display surface normals in your modeler, turn that on, and then select those faces and flip them. There's no way to fix that within UVLayout itself.
