It doesn't happen all the time, but UVL crashes once and a while. Is there a way to get it to try to auto-save a copy of the OBJ when it crashes? Thanks in advance. |

There's no way currently to save on crash, but I'm just about to release v2.06, which adds an auto-save at user specified intervals.

Well I got the idea from working with 3ds Max - it has a save on crash feature.
One more suggestion if you don't mind. In the save dialog, where you have Show, Save, and Dismiss buttons, currently when you hit the green save button it feels sort of ungratifying because nothing happens. I find myself hitting the save button like three times just to make absolutely certain that I'm saving and not mis-clicking the button. Some sort of confirmation that the save was successful would feel more gratifying and provide assurance. |

It should be updating the file list, so if its a new file, you'll see its been added in. If it hasnt worked, an error message will pop up.
But I'm always open to suggestions, so have changed it so that the green "Save" button changes to "Save Done" when the file has been written out without any errors. It'll be in the next release, whenever that is.

For the sake of consistency, you should include this for when you save out screen captures and rendered UVs, as well as any other save screen I'm neglecting to mention. |
