Hey Phil - remember that on OS X, the script will fail if the mesh has a : colon in its name? Is it easy to edit the script so it changes that to an underscore before attempting to write the file?

There's a "load loop" bug I need to look at with the maya plugin, so I'll make this change while I'm at it.
