I see in the new features for 2.06.02 we have the option to select by Material groups. That's really cool! But when I open the groups roll up the only group I see is the geometry group. My OBJ contains "usemlt" lines or is there a different type of material group?
Geometry exported from Max with GW-Obj Exporter.
Wha'd I do wrong? |

The groups that UVLayout picks up are defined by "g" lines in the OBJ file. Usually these are found amongst the "f" lines, and they set out what faces belong to the named groups.
I dont know how you get that information out of the GW-Obj exporter; maybe there's an option?
