No offense, but there are five save buttons right on the main interface. Use them.

But that's not auto. When I'm working on stuff, i don't always think to hit them. If I thought to hit them, I'd also think to save.
Autosave means that, for instance, every five minutes the current state of affairs is saved so that if the program crashes and you *didn't* save you only lose 5 minutes of work or less.
Having "five save buttons" means you can save up to five revert points along the way, but not that things are saved as you go.
Berating me because one is supposedly equivalent to the other (when they very clearly aren't) is absurd. |

No problems ... its on the easy end of the scale, so I'll see if I can get it into the next release.

Autosave is now in the latest beta, which you can get from the uvlayout.com Support Extras page.
Click on "About UVLayout" and open up the "Preferences" tab, and you'll see an "Auto Save" field down towards the bottom. By default it "0" minutes, which means its off. Set it to any other value to save after that many minutes of work, and 5 files are created in a cycle; that is, "auto1.uvl" up to "auto5.uvl" and back to the beginning again.

Brilliant! That's a great one to go in --- I've seen it being asked for by a number of people and wanted it myself but didn't shout out because I didn't consider it a "must have"... but I'm really pleased now that you've done it. |
