Hello,

I'm getting this error message when attempting to load an .obj:

"Can't open link to "cyeat". Not answering."

This is an inconsistent error. Sometimes it occurs, and other times the object loads fine. I can't find any repeatable aspects to this.

Any insight is appreciated.

Is it the same object that sometimes does and doesn't load, or is it some objects do, and some objects don't?

You're using floating licenses, right? The problem might be there. The GUI is spawning a separate process to load the geometry, and if that process gets held
up while doing its license checks with the server, the GUI will report the "not
answering" error. Its a fair amount if time ... 5 or 10 seconds I think, but if there's
variable loadings at the server end, that might explain the inconsistency.

This issue occurs with all objects. Objects loaded fine for a few days, but now is not So it sounds like it's the server time issue as you mentioned. Is there anything I can do on my end?

Thank you for the reply

Sorry, been away, but are back now.

Did this fix itself, or is it still broken?

Is the problem isolated to one workstation, or are all affected?

I'd be happy to generate some temp keys for an alternate server,
then we'd know if it really was something broken on the current
license server or not.
