|
|
I just lost two very good hours of work because one of the program components unexpectedly crashed. (I was so upset I forgot to take notes on which element crashed - it's not something I recognized. -- Will try to do better in the future.)
I will begin to do manual incremental saves now, to be sure. But I was wondering if currently there is some kind of auto-save feature I can turn on?
If not, consider it a feature request.

As I'm doing my incremental saves, is there any way to NAME the files? I didn't notice this very basic capability was missing, since the demo doesn't allow saving.
Please tell me there's a way to name my files ... |

The best way to save regularly is via the "Tmp" numbered buttons; you've got five slots, which over-write previous saves.
Or use the "E" button, which saves into a never ending sequence of "edit01.uvl", "edit02.uvl" etc, not overwriting.
Then finally, if you want to type a name, click the "Save" button; enter the name you want in the input field at the bottom of file selection window. If you add no extension (eg "fish"), then the ".uvl" will be added automatically. If you want an OBJ, then you need to add the ".obj".
