Hi,

I have this annoying display problem on OSX 10.5.6 where UVlayout doesnt update the display when i.e. dropping to UV editor..
It turns out like this:
Cut to make a shell.
Hit return on the shell to detach it.
Cut it open (Shift-S)
and Drop it with "D"

The model dosent disappear form the Editor view, until I do a slight camera change.

The same issue happens in the UV editor, when I weld edges, and hit return on a shell to merge them.. It doesnt actually display as merged until the slight view change..

If you want more info, please let me know.

I have seen that occasionally, but not consistently. But you're getting it all the time, is that correct?

That is correct.

Also when de-selecting, and detaching shells (with return) in the UV editor, the shell is displayed as detached when I do a slight zoom.

Btw, I have the hobbyist version, I cant tell if its the same with the other versions.

OK, I'll have a look at this in the next few days. I was hoping to do an update by the end of the week anyway, so the fix will be included in that.

I'm seeing this consistently too. It seems to have got worse since I upgraded to 10.5.7 and the latest X11.

There's new Pro and Hobbyist version installers for OS X on the uvlayout.com Support Extras page; you'll need to login with your License ID to access the page. Let me know if that doesn't or doesn't fix the display problems.

hmmmm. I still get the refresh bug. ATI 4870 (Apple retail - not hacked) and Nehalem Mac Pro. See the attached file. If I hit undo, I have to zoom in to see the change.

Thanks for the bug report ... its possible I forgot to apply the fix to the undo code! I'm away from the office today, but will be able to look at this tomorrow.

I've tried a number of different undos and all of them redrew OK here. Is it *all* undos that aren't working for you, or a specific one (e.g. undoing a shell drop)?

it's hard to say - it just seems to stop working at some stage. I just extended a green cut and when I undid it, the problem showed up (didn't refresh). This is with the latest version

"it just seems to stop working at some stage."

OK, so it sounds like it works initially, yes? In my testing I've just played around for a few minutes, and everything was fine. Its looking like the bug appears after a while, so I'll need to so some more extended playing around.
