Hey guys I am having a terible time with user interface ...
I just cant figure out why sometimes i cant move anything in my UV View
i tried everithing but cant move any of my pieces ..
tried ctrl+ mmb /// infact all mouse buttons /// ctrl shift + any mouse button but nothing happens
well infact it seems that individual verex is moved with right mouse button
why is that
I want to move whole piece
also is there a way to drop some uvs from uv view back to edit

That's Space-MMB. I'm sure its covered in one of the first four videos under the "Basic" videos at uvlayout.com. You should at least watch those first four; at the top of the screen is a ticker strip that show you which keys are being pressed, so "Space" and the middle mouse button will light up whenever I'm moving a shell about.

Shift-D. You can see this one in the "Undropping-Shells" video.

thanks got it working it was that 2or 3 button mouse thing that i needed to change in preferences
its all great now
