hi all

i m new in the world of uv layout.

i would like to know how i can optimize my render . i want my texture to match perfectly. it's not so bad : ) but :
when i use the pinning point i have dark blue aera like in picture 0003 and dark red at the top. may be my process is totally wrong.

You can have either low distortion (ie minimal red or blue), or an even flowing texture across the seam, as you have created there with the pinned points and edge straightening. Because the leg is not a perfect cylinder, you cant have both, so its up to you to decide which is most important.

You will come across these types of things all the time when using UVLayout; balancing distortion against other factors like seam location.
