|
|
Hello everyone.
I have a problem when exporting my obj archive from uvlayout with the UVs unwrapped into xsi. When i import the obj the uv map disappears!!! althought the geometry seems to be well. Another strange thing is that if i save with uvl extension i can re-open the archive without any problem, but if i do it with obj extension, when i open it, the uv map is separated in diferent parts that in the previous one were not separated!!!
I have also tried to update a obj archive but the problem remains.
The uv map has no overlaps, and everything seems to be well, because i can do it right with other archives.
Thanks a lot
Sorry for my english |

Check that you have "Set All UVs on Save" ticked in the preferences. I think XSI throws away all UVs if only some of them are set, and thats what will happen if some shells haven't been flattened.
If you get no joy out of that, email me your UVL and the the original and flattened OBJ files and I'll see if I can work out whats happening!

I fixed the problem re installing the program, i think that something in the scaling preferences was wrong, but i have the same preferences than now I knew abuot this button, thats the reason of my confusion, everything seemed to be well.
So thanks a lot Phil. |
