Hi,

I've had problems in the UV view. In the option "Color Error" I don't see the colors, but only the grid.

I suspect it be related to my video board. His model is VIA/S3 UniChrome IGP.

I installed the UVlayout in others computers and I didn't have the same problem.

My computer is an AMD Sempron 1.6ghz, 1GB Ram, 80 GB HD.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Fabio

Can you show me a snapshot of the UVLayout graphics window? Move the mouse pointer into the window and hit F8 and it'll create a jpeg for you. You could then either email that then or attach it to a reply here.

I also suspect the graphics adapter though. What you have is a basic integrated (on board) chip there, which isn't normally recommended for 3D work. You could try looking for an updated graphics driver.

Hi, Phil,

This is the snapshot. I was flattening a head mesh, but, in the UV view, Color Errors, it displays the mesh this way.

The strange is that I test the UVLayout in others computers with the same graphics adapter and it shows the color normally.

Thanks!

OK, I believe you now :-) Yes, it is odd that it works on other systems but not this one.

If you double-click the UVLayout desktop icon, then the "Test" button, it'll run UVLayout with a simple torus loaded. Does that show the filled in colored polygons correctly?

Hi Phil,

Well, when I view in UV >> Color Error, I see only the grid too. But in 3D view I see the colors.

Other strange fact is that when I edit other objects, in 3D view, when I press "t" it shows me the checked mesh or with numbers, but it doesn't show me the color, only in gray,

Thanks for your attention!

"Well, when I view in UV >> Color Error, I see only the grid too. But in 3D view I see the colors."

Is that with the torus as well? I'm just wondering if its something specific to that one mesh, or if its a general problem (affecting all meshes) on that PC.

"in 3D view, when I press "t" it shows me the checked mesh or with numbers, but it doesn't show me the color, only in gray,"

Yes, thats normal. When in the texture views it should show some of the red and blue coloring, but the normal green turns to white so the grid and texture is clearer.
